Diesel Shunter X101

X101 - Diesel rail tractor built 1962 by the Dept of Railways Water Supply Workshops, Chullora. Initially numbered 8001.  


During the 1980s, the locomotive was asigned to the shunters training school at the former Petersham yard.


In 1985, the locomotive was painted in the State Rail Authorities 'Candy' livery. It was put on display at that years Easter Show at Moore park, in Sydneys east.
